Marquess & Associates, Inc. was established in 1993 when our president, Terri Marquess, opened an office in the Dallas Metroplex, bringing with her 15 years of experience as a staffing professional. In our first full year of operation, the Texas Association of Personnel Consultants (TAPC) selected Marquess & Associates as the Number One Rookie Office of 1994-1995 in "Administrative Support."
The TAPC has since recognized Marquess & Associates as the Number One Team in the State of Texas for Blended Services (direct hire, temp-to-hire, and temporary placement) for "Administrative Support" six times in the last eight years.
Our blended services approach differs from the traditional method in the staffing industry of having consultants working in separate divisions for direct hire and temporary staffing needs. In that traditional approach, employers and candidates alike may have to deal with separate consultants for different needs, often leading to confusion, repetition of information, and possibly even conflicts between divisions of one agency. By incorporating the blended services concept, each consultant with Marquess & Associates can service any need an employer or candidate may have.
